Client: Makhno Studio, a Kyiv-based studio of Ukrainian contemporary design, architecture and ceramics

Challenge: Makhno Studio needed an introduction to the US market, particularly as the recent war in Ukraine hampered operations. Potential customers were scared to place orders given the turmoil in Makhno’s home country. Makhno needed to instill market confidence and appeal to US buyers in order to continue to grow their business.

Solution: Relevance devised a media outreach plan to build brand awareness of Makhno to reach their target demographics, leveraging the brand’s inspiring story of overcoming adversity and the designer’s stunning work. Relevance put Makhno in the publications read by HNWIs through targeting a mixture of regional, design and lifestyle press.
