Challenge: Essex Crossing is a mixed-use megadevelopment in the Lower East Side spanning 1.9 million square feet of unique and adaptable space across nine city blocks. Developed by Delancey Street Associates, a joint venture of Taconic Partners, L+M Development Partners, BFC Partners, the Prusik Group and the Urban Investment Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Essex Crossing’s offices feature pre-built spaces with best-in-class amenities. Taconic entrusted Relevance with broadcasting this messaging to aid in attracting tenants and maintaining Essex Crossing’s presence in New York’s news cycle.
Solution: Relevance International continues to work with longtime client Taconic Partners to support day-to-day editorial opportunities, maximize media exposure and secure strategic press coverage of The Offices at Essex Crossing. This campaign’s priorities included targeting key TAMI tenants, highlighting the new prebuilt spaces available and leveraging Taconic’s leadership for profile and expert source opportunities. Beyond this media outreach, Relevance also spearheaded new leasing announcements, including Verizon’s sign-on as Essex Crossing’s anchor tenant with three floors at The Artisan, located at 155 Delancey Street
Results:
- Elevated Essex Crossing as a premier megadevelopment in New York City, which in turn helped attract clients to the space.
- Secured widespread coverage of Essex Crossing in industry trades and leveraged its importance to elevate Taconic Partners as a brand.
- Promoted new leasing announcements on numerous media channels, growing Essex Crossing’s visibility and emphasizing its benefits to the Lower East Side community.
- Developed a “live, work, play” narrative for Essex Crossing to
govern all aspects of the mixed-use development, including its offices, residential units and varied retail offerings that make
Essex Crossing a one-stop-shop for virtually all aspects of daily New York living.
